Who is this Course for?

Is Yoga Burn a good program? It definitely is, especially if you are serious about losing weight and building functional strength. Even though Yoga Burn is a weight-loss program specially developed for women, it can also be used successfully by men of all ages. Men who want to give yoga a try could definitely find this course more than rewarding.

While many Yoga Burn reviews claim that this program is extremely tough and can only work for people who are quite serious about succeeding, the naked truth is that this is one of the simplest yoga programs ever released, even for beginners. You can trust me on that because I am a Yoga newbie.

So why is Yoga Burn good for beginners?

First, it includes exercises that promote relaxation and decrease stress.

Second, it revolves around yoga techniques, which come with a wide range of holistic benefits for the body.

Some of them include

  1. increased muscle flexibility and mobility
  2. protection from injury
  3. weight reduction
  4. increased tone
  5. and muscle strength
  6. Stronger cardio and circulation
  7. improved athletic performance

Yoga Burn is excellent for you if you fall into one of the following categories:

  1. You want to stretch your legs like never before or you're curious about how yoga can help you live a healthier life
  2. You want to slim-up a bit and turn your body into its best version yet
  3. You hate working out and you prefer doing exercises at home, on your mat, instead of going to the gym
  4. You don't have time, especially for exercising: you should know that Yoga Burn only takes 45 minutes of your day or less, should you choose to customize it.
  5. You need a boost in self-esteem

Can you Lose Weight with Yoga Burn?

You can lose weight with this program. Your key to this is consistency. Yoga is not a high intensity explosive workout so calories burned are not at the top end of the spectrum.

However, its not at the low end either. This Harvard University article states that Yoga can burn close to 180 calories every 30 minutes.

This is more than general weight lifting that comes in around 130. That might not seem like much, but over time it adds-up.

You could burn roughly 250 calories during each Yoga Burn session. You only need 3500 to lose a single pound of fat. Combine that with clean eating and you will see progress.

Yoga Burn Challenge Review – What it Actually is?

The Yoga Burn Challenge is a modern approach to losing weight and staying in shape. This program can definitely help you if you're looking to transform your life and boost your flexibility while increasing your happiness level.

Zoe Bray Cotton, the creator of this program, used her innovative Dynamic Sequencing Principle when creating the Yoga Burn Challenge, transforming this course into a totally unique weight-loss method.

What I like about the Yoga Burn Challenge Program

Weight loss: does Yoga Burn help lose belly fat? Does it flatten your stomach? Yes, it can do both assuming that you stick to the program and maintain healthy eating practices. This is true for all fitness programs. Keep it clean in the kitchen.

Peace of mind: for people with jobs and families, peace of mind is mandatory. For me, this program was like a breeze of fresh air. Somehow I feel centered after a session. A bit of a Zen moment.

The equipment needed for Yoga Burn only includes a high-quality mat making it a simple affair.

Instructions are super easy to follow, so no fussing about with equipment or going through complicated explainer videos.

The Yoga Burn Schedule

The Yoga Burn program is scheduled over 3 Phases known as “dynamic sequencing”.

By better understanding each one of these phases, you'll be able to know exactly how Yoga Burn is going to work in your case and how it will enable you to stay on top of your health.

The entire program lasts 12 weeks, with each phase consisting of an ideal 4-week period of time.

The entire program lasts 12 weeks, with each phase consisting of an ideal 4-week period of time.

Each phase consists of daily exercises that have to be practiced over a duration of 4 weeks. Even if you'll get stuck or you'll skip some days, you'll be able to get to the next stage when you feel ready.

While it is important to follow this program to the T if you want to enjoy maximum results, you can also take it easy and do it by your own rules. However, the results won't come as quickly.

Without further ado, let's take a closer look at the 3 main phases of this program:

Phase 1 – The Foundational Flow

Just like a home needs a firm foundation in order to withstand strong winds and fierce storms, so this program requires you to create a strong foundation to build upon. The first phase is a 4-week journey that will help you set up the basics of your entire 12-week trip.

This is the most important phase of the program, especially for complete beginners who have never practiced yoga before. Even for experienced users, this phase can be quite enjoyable.

During this first phase, you'll become acquainted with certain yoga moves called “aasanas”. You'll get to view easy-to-follow videos that will show you a set of yoga sequences that you should follow. Ideally, you should not spend more than 45 minutes per session.

However, you'll probably go over this timeframe, especially during the first week, as you'll be introduced to a wide range of yoga poses.

This is the time where you need to focus on perfecting your moves and achieving the right posture. Additionally, you need to learn how to capitalize on the power of a strong “mind-body” connection. This is key for fully leveraging the benefits of yoga for your body and mind.

It took me over 2 weeks to become acquainted with the poses and sequences, despite the fact that I had already practiced yoga in the past. Additionally, my muscles were sore and I was really having a hard time doing certain poses like the “downward dog”.

However, after the 2 weeks, all the things started to fall into place. I could now perform all moves easily.

However, after the 2 weeks, all the things started to fall into place. I could now perform all moves easily.

Even before the first phase was over, I started to feel calmer and to enjoy more positive thoughts. All that irritability and restlessness that I used to feel before was gone, being replaced by energy and happiness. Of course, my body also started to feel amazing and both my legs and arms started to look toned.

Phase 2 – The Transitional Flow

As the name suggests, this is the 4-week phase where you learn how to transition from the first phase to the ultimate one. During the Transitional Flow, expect the exercises to become increasingly difficult.

Nevertheless, if you managed to stay on top of the Foundational Flow phase and you were able to master the exercises, you'll find it easy to use this section part of the Dynamic Sequencing to your advantage.

In the Transitional Flow, the exercises are seamlessly divided into 3 parts: core, upper body, and lower body. In addition to practicing more difficult exercises, you'll also focus on improving your speed and accuracy.

You'll learn to transition from one exercise to the other without getting a chance to rest. Having little rest between exercises will really push you in this phase. If you aren’t used to core and ab exercises, you might be sore the first time through.

Despite being slightly more difficult to practice the exercises, this phase also comes with certain perks. If you’ve kept consistent and have stuck to a clean eating plan, the calories burned should show some promise toward dropping some weight.

Phase 3 – The Mastery Flow

Now, this is where things start to get really interesting. In the third and last phase of this program, you'll become quite familiar with Yoga. This is the part where all the magic happens. Expect nothing less of Yoga Burn style high-intensity sessions.

If you managed to work your way through the first two parts of the Yoga Burn program, you'll certainly be able to finish it. During this phase, you'll be able to perfect your skills and perform each yoga exercise with ultimate precision. You can choose from over 21 poses and mix them up in order to reach your goals.

What you need to know about this last phase of the dynamic sequencing is that the author allows you to discover your own combinations. The exercises are repetitive, so you'll get to master all of them. You can easily vary the upper body exercises with the lower body ones and integrate a few core yoga exercises here and there.
